VACATION LODGING - Policies

 

Payment
Total charges will be calculated upon request, based on the length of your reservation inquiry. Upon making a reservation, we will ask for your credit card number to hold the home for you. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. No Cash Accepted.

All reservations are subject to Oregon Transient Lodging Tax or Washington sales tax.

60 days prior to arrival, a reservation deposit in the amount equal to the first two nights of your stay, plus applicable taxes and fees will be charged to your credit card on file. The balance remaining will be due upon check in. No cash accepted.

Reservations cancelled less than 60 days will result in forfeiture of your reservation deposit.

A security deposit is held with your card upon check in, the amount of which varies on the size of the home. Your card is credited upon satisfactory inspection by our office.

Gorge Rentals will not make refunds for mechanical failure, natural disasters or weather. No refunds will be given for delayed arrival or early departure.

Rates are subject to change.

Check In & Check Out
Check in time is 3 pm and check out time is 11 am. These times are strictly enforced during holidays and summer months. They are negotiable during other times only with the acknowledgement of Gorge Rentals management.

Please note: If you are checking in or out on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, please arrange a specific time to check in or check out so our employees can maximize their holidays as well. If a problem were to arise with your vacation rental, we do have employees on call for emergencies.

Upon your departure please:

  • Remove all perishable items from the home and place the trash in the appropriate receptacles
  • Wash the dishes or run the dishwasher
  • Close and lock all windows and doors
  • Turn down the thermostats to 60 degrees (unless otherwise programmed)
  • Return the keys to our office by the designated check out time

General Policies
Each home on our management program is privately owned, and is non-smoking. If you choose to smoke outside of the home, please dispose of cigarette butts in the trash. If evidence of smoking has occurred in the home, there will be a minimum charge of $100.00 for additional cleaning.

All of our homes are fully furnished and supplied with linens, and a starter set of soap and paper products. All of our homes are equipped with a television. The kitchens are completely equipped and ready for you. We recommend you bring any specialty cooking utensils you may need during your stay, and of course, food and condiments.

Not all of our homes have air conditioning. If the description does not say air conditioning, then the home does not have air conditioning.

Unless otherwise noted, a telephone is in every home. Local and toll free calls are free of charge. All phones in the homes are not able to make any long distance or accept collect calls.

Pets are only allowed in "pet friendly" properties. They are not allowed on the furniture and are never to be left unattended at the house. Please bring your pet’s bedding, toys and dishes and clean up outside after them.

We do not allow parties, weddings or other special events at most of our vacation rental homes. Arrangements for special events must be made in advance. Additional charges may apply for large gatherings. Inquire at the office for details.

There is a 2 night minimum stay at all of our vacation homes, unless otherwise noted.

There is a charge of $25.00 for each lost house key.

Gorge Rentals is not responsible for lost and misplaced items. Lost items will be held for 30 days and are subject to a $10.00 handling fee and shipping charges.

Maximum occupancy rules (which includes children) are strictly enforced.

All rental information is deemed reliable, but not guaranteed.

You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a home.

Gorge Rentals reserves the right to cancel or move any reservation. Gorge Rentals reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Violation of federal, state, county or city laws and company policies and house rules are grounds for immediate eviction without refund.
